The Ambassador of Ukraine in the Vatican was told of concern about the bills that concern the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).

This "Observer" was told in the Apostolic Nunciature in Ukraine (Vatican Embassy).

"Apostolic Nunciature in Ukraine reported that in various situations, some high-ranking officials of the State Secretariat of the Holy See met the Ambassador of Ukraine at the Holy See to express certain concerns about bills on church issues, which are mentioned these days," reads the statement..



It is noted that "similar issues were raised by the Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine with some representatives of the Ukrainian government".

As reported by the "Observer", the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry denied the information that the Ukrainian ambassador to the Vatican was summoned to the Pope in connection with the bills concerning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).
