In the Ukrainian segment of social networks they were delighted by the explanation of Verkhovna Rada deputy Mikhail Gavrilyuk why journalist Vasily Krutchak, after a conversation with him, smashed his face and tore his shirt.
The corresponding entry appeared on the page of volunteer Miroslava Oleshko in Facebook.
Oleshko posted a video with a short interview with Gavrilyuk, in which the deputy explains to journalists that he did not actually beat Vassily Krutchak - he just slipped on the stairs, dropped the phone and smashed his face, and Gavrilyuk himself allegedly tried to save the journalist, holding his hands, and kept from Falling, as a result of which the shirt was torn.
Miroslav Oleshko accompanied the video admiring remark: "It's brilliant!".
The post received more than 880 likes and 170 reposts.
In the comments, users mostly praised Gavrilyuk for being so "genuinely twisted" from the situation, joking about the situation and expressing confidence that the journalist deserved a beating, and perhaps, on purpose, provoked the deputy.
Lawyer Eugene Stelmakh also posted a video with Gavrilyuk's excuses and commented: "Here's how to give explanations for the interrogation in order to avoid responsibility. Master class from Gavrilyuk. This is unrealistically cool. I'm under the table ... "As the" Observer "reported, Mikhail Gavrilyuk stated that he did not attack journalist Vasily Krutchak in the Verkhovna Rada, but instead" put his hands on him "when he fell.
