The former soldier was engaged in the sale of weapons and ammunition in the territory of Kiev and the Kiev region. According to the press service of the prosecutor's office, using his connections, the detainee sold stolen military property.

Among the weapons seized from him were AK-74 assault rifles, submachine guns and grenades RGD-5, F-1. All this was delivered to him from the zone of the antiterrorist operation.

The police found that he was assisted by three accomplices from among civilians. They stored the stolen property and handed it over for further sale. The money received from the arms trade was shared between them.

According to the SBU on Tuesday, May 16. The attackers sold the AK-47 and the store to it, 253 cartridges, two F-1 grenades and two fuses to them, and they earned for it almost 60,000 hryvnias.

Now the prosecutor's office is preparing a report of suspicion and an application for the election of a preventive measure in custody.
