Briton Sir Nicholas Winton saved 669 Jewish children from the Nazi-occupied countries during World War II.

This is written by CNN.

For a secret rescue operation, it took 8 trains. Winton did not even say anything to his wife, and he only revealed the secret 50 years later, calling the names of the rescued.

In 1988, Winton's wife invited them, already adults, to the BBC program with her husband's participation, without telling him about it. As a result, during the filming of the man was sitting in the audience, surrounded by those who helped survive.

When people stood up, Wynton shed tears, realizing who was surrounded.

Winton passed away in 2015 at the age of 106 years.

After his death, British Prime Minister David Cameron in memory of the brave said: "The world lost a great man. We will never forget about Sir Nicholas Winton, whose great heart has helped to save many children from certain death ".

As reported by the "Observer", in Kramatorsk the first grader saved his friends from the explosion of grenades.
