Ukrainian police will be forced to inform citizens about their rights. They will be obliged to read at any contacts with law enforcers.

This was reported by the deputy head of the National Police Konstantin Bushuyev, reports "UNN". He noted that this innovation is necessary to increase the legal awareness of the population.

"The working group developed a mock-up of the police to inform people about their rights.

With the help of the developed bulletin, citizens will receive information on rights not in a dry legal language, "Bushuyev explained the coming changes.

The police, he said, will have to tell about the rights of citizens in any status - suspect, witness or victim. The pilot project was launched and tested in Kharkov. Until the end of 2017, the norm will operate throughout the country. Changes will affect all police units regardless of their status and functional.
