As a result of the incident, four members of the Union of Internationalist Warriors. As reported by the police of the Mykolayiv region, in fact, the fight was delayed nine people. Law enforcers also explained that representatives of several public associations came to the office to discuss the situation, which resulted in a clash between them on May 9 in the main square of the city.

However, during the meeting, representatives of public associations saw symbols that, in their opinion, refer to the "The condemnation of the communist and national-socialist (nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and the prohibition of propaganda of their symbols". It is because of this that the fight began. Arriving at the scene arrived the police reassured the enraged people and, in order to clarify the circumstances of the incident and the degree of guilt of the participants, they took everyone to the Central Police Department.

At the same time after a fight to the doctors for medical assistance, four participants of the union of soldiers-internationalists. They have bodily injuries of varying severity.

The police opened a criminal case under the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Intentional slight bodily harm" and "Deliberate moderate bodily harm".
