The traditional laying of flowers and wreaths in Popudrenko Square and Boldina Hill in Chernigov, according to police, took place without gross violations of public order.

The police provided public order at the events and accompanied a convoy of buses carrying veterans and memorial participants to the Memorial on Boldina Hill.

During the celebrations, two men were seen in the military field uniform of the Soviet model. One of them was wearing a so-called "St. George's" ribbon on the uniform, notes 0462.

The activists urged them to leave the events, but the "mummers" did not obey. As a result, law enforcers invited them to the police station.
