According to the "Anticorruption Portal", since May 1, subsidies for Ukrainians began to count according to new rules.

If earlier in the budget only the overpayment for heating was returned, according to a new document, the Ukrainians will also be charged with the overpayment for cold and hot water.

The subsidy is assigned to the social consumption rate. Overpayment occurs if you spend less than the norm, but pay a "mandatory payment". Previously, this overpayment was transferred to the next month. That is, it was profitable to save - if you spend less this month, then in the next you can pay less. Now, according to the governmental decree # 300, every six months the overpayment for cold and hot water will be returned to the budget. In addition, during the heating season, the accounts of Ukrainians are also written off and overpayment for heating.

An exception was made for those who heat their homes with gas or electricity.

On the accounts of such Ukrians will be left overpayment, equivalent to the cost of 100 cubic meters of gas or 150 kWh of electricity. If the family uses electricity for heating, they will be refunded 174 UAH.

It is worth noting that a few months ago the Cabinet of Ministers called on subsidies to save in order to pay less in the next month. However, after the changes, the subsidies, which saved and spent less heat, cold and hot water, complain that they found themselves with nothing.
