In the training center of the 7th US Army training, which is located in Bavaria, Grafenvir, the solemn ceremony of opening the international tank competition "Strong Europe". This is reported in the facebook of the General Staff of the APU. The opening session was attended by the current secretary of the US Army Robert Spore. He personally congratulated and communicated with tank crews from 4 NATO countries (USA, Germany, France and Poland), Austria and Ukraine, who this year will compete for the main trophy of the competitions. Jointly organized by the US Armed Forces in Europe and the command of the Army of the Armed Forces of the FRG, the competitions will be held for the second time at the Grafenvir. It is worth recalling that last year's winners were German tankmen, who now use the modern battle tank of the family "Leopard" - A6. The commander of the training of the 7th US Army, Brig. Gen. Tony Aguto, in his welcoming speech noted: "All participants of the competition have already become winners, because they are the best in their countries. I have no doubt that every crew will leave Grafenweir with new knowledge and experience ".

In addition to combat training specialists of the participating countries, the competition will be monitored by representatives of the armed forces of Norway, Italy, Belgium, Canada and Sweden, who participate in the event as observers. On Monday, the first stage of the competition starts, where the Ukrainians will be confronted by American crews on tanks "Abrams". Our platoon will conduct an offensive operation, and the army team from the United States will work on the defense.
