Two photographers from Poland, Christian Makhnik and Adam Boyanovsky, presented stunning pictures, in which the town of Pripyat, which was abandoned more than 30 years ago, "comes to life" near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Corresponding photos are published on Facebook at Napromieniowani. Pl.

During the filming, the authors included light in homes and public buildings, as if people returned to Pripyat and the city returned to its normal life.

"We want everyone to understand that it's worth a little effort, and everything will work again," said Makhnik.

"We wanted to show this city on the other side in a way that no one else has done before us. We wanted to show how in the windows of buildings the light again shines ... We returned the light to the city and as if revived it to life, "Boyanovsky added..

reference. Pripyat is an abandoned city in the Kiev region (94 km from the capital of Ukraine). Located on the banks of the Pripyat River, 3 km from the Chernobyl NPP, near the border with Belarus. The population of Pripyat was evacuated on April 27, 1986 because of the Chernobyl accident.
