The mother of the political prisoner Alexander Kolchenka, a Crimean woman who is detained in the Russian Federation, met her son in a colony in Chelyabinsk. This was reported on its Facebook page by the coordinator of the RosUznik project, Jan Goncharov.

"Strengthened nutrition, which he was several months (as he said - it's some extra gram of butter and milk), it did not help him - everything is just as thin and there is a deficit of weight," she said..

Goncharova added that the prison administration is subjecting to severe censorship letters that come to Kolchenko.

Also, she said, the prisoner, as before, is not allowed Ukrainian consul.

Kolchenko intends to write another application for a meeting with him.

Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov and activist Alexander Kolchenko, FSB officers detained in the Crimea in the spring of 2014. They were sent to Russia, where they were tried on charges of organizing terrorist attacks and arson of party offices on the peninsula. The Russian court in August 2015 sentenced them to 20 and 10 years in prison respectively. Both blamed not recognized. This was reported by the Air Force Ukraine.
