The Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted solemn events on the occasion of the release of cadets and their dedication to the defenders of law and order. Among those who received diplomas of higher education, 110 graduates of Faculty No. 3 (police units of preventive activity). The release of young specialists is always a significant event for the educational institution. In the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs, solemn events are held as part of the celebration of the centenary of the training of law enforcement officers in the Kharkiv region. For this time the educational institution has prepared more than 50 thousand. Highly qualified personnel for law enforcement bodies of Ukraine. Today, many graduates are not only guarding the rights and freedoms of citizens of Ukraine, but, together with other defenders of their land, defend the territorial integrity and unity of our state, even at the cost of living. Those present with a minute of silence honored patriotism, the courage of loyalty and heroism of those who gave their lives for the unity and independence of Ukraine, taking part in the antiterrorist operation. The ceremony of awarding diplomas began. Documents on higher education to excellent students, among them 12 girls and a young man, was handed over by the rector of the University General of Police 3 ranks Valery Sokurenko. After the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to youth, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Army General Stepan Poltorak addressed: "Dear graduates! Years of training have passed. Today you joined the National Police in order to serve the people of Ukraine and defend it. This is a very responsible mission, it can only be true patriots of their country. You will have to work in a new Ukraine, which appeared thanks to the Revolution of Virtue. A new stage of life begins for you. The stage of greater independence, but also greater responsibility. Remember: people's trust is the best evaluation of our work ". Alexei Maksimov, Director of the Department for Defense, Mobilization and Interaction with Law Enforcement Agencies of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said: "You are a face of the Ukrainian police. Your personal example and professional competence will shape respect for the law and strengthen citizens' faith in justice. Be worthy of the title of a police officer of Ukraine, make every effort to strengthen the prestige and prestige of the profession, and the education received within the walls of the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs will become the basis of personal success and professional growth. The festivities ended with the demonstration speeches of the special purpose unit of the CORD of the State Unitary Enterprise in the Kharkov region and the units of the Carabineer University, the amateur talent group and the ensemble of drummers.
