Judging by the fact that in the RF began to sell uniforms of the NKVD, there now live solely grandchildren of revolvers and executioners, who have killed the people's breach. They are not that they do not perceive the death of such a huge number of people simply because the Communists have decided so, they are proud of it.
Such game is no one else, except for them, it does not fit in my head. But this is the inverted content of some historical phenomenon. As for the coming day of victory, then it is not only content that is false, but also a form.
To begin with, the full title of this "holiday" looks like this: "the day of victory in the Great Patriotic War". In fact, we are talking about the capitulation of Germany, for it was an episode of a real and greater phenomenon: the Second World War. It began on September 1, 1939 and ended September 2, 1945. To isolate a piece from it and call only a scoop to call a separate war.
For the rest of the world, there is no great, let alone a war, war. What kind of domestic war can we talk about, if about a million citizens scoop officially went to serve in the army and other law enforcement agencies in Germany? This does not take into account people who worked in civil structures and what is most interesting, the vast majority of these individuals were Russian. Following the logic of today's Moscow, it was a civil war, but not a domestic one. Great it was not, too, rather - shameful and as we found out above, it was another war - World War II. So every word of the name of this "holiday" is a lie.
By the way, the holiday itself on this occasion clearly falls under the meaning of the above anecdote. Having lost 30-40 million. People, any country would mark this event solely with mourning. It's like having a party on the day of the death of your parents. But back to the numbers in the title.
If we are already talking about the surrender of Germany, then we must remember the important thing. This very capitulation was appointed by Stalin on May 1, in yet another shovel festival. This is a common practice when military commanders tried to tie a successful operation to the birthday of the leader and teacher or to another holiday, the day of the revolution. To this day, for example, the liberation of Kiev was tied. To fit into the date, a monstrous number of personnel was killed. Regarding these losses, the pride of the Russians Zhukov remarked: "Why (armor) to arm these hops? The more we sink in the Dnieper, the less it will be necessary to exile to Siberia".

One can imagine the surprise of the delegation of defeated Germany when they were told that the capitulation should be re-signed for the Russians. But when they entered the hall and saw the French together with the Russians, the head of the German delegation, Field Marshal Keitl, said roughly the following: "Why, did the French lose us too?".
In short, the scoop managed even from this event to arrange a show booth. But that is not all. When all the signatures were left under the new text of surrender, it was still May 8, 1945. It is on this day that the whole sane world remembers the victims of this war. Only the scoop decided to make this a holiday and not on May 8, but 9, allegedly because in Moscow it was already May 9.
In this sense, it would be very interesting to look at how the birth or death of a Russian in Khabarovsk is recorded. For example, he decided to drink Boyarka or a windshield wiper at 5 am on May 9, local time, and immediately went to the world of eternal days of victories. When will the date of his death be written down? For sure - on May 9, but after all, in Moscow, another May 8! How to deal with this? In short, Russians managed to even falsify false numbers. In short, what is going on there?
They celebrate not a holiday, not a victory, not a great, not a domestic, but a war that did not end on May 9, but Germany's surrender (formal occasion) was also signed on May 9! That is, it is an event that is cobbled together by debates, proclaimed by debates for debates that are proud of their own, exceptional debility.
