According to a poll conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VCIOM), most Russians prefer to learn news via television, RIA Novosti reports..
"The main source of news about the events in the country for most of our fellow citizens is television, but its popularity is decreasing with time (62% in 2015, 52% in 2017)," the message says..
At the same time, the popularity of the Internet in this matter is growing. About a third of Russians (32%) prefer to learn news from the network. According to researchers, to the radio and newspapers, Russians are treated less often - information from them today is recognized by 3% and 4% of respondents, respectively.
