On the eve of the Pesach holiday, a group of Jewish volunteers visited units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the forefront, a volunteer medical center and handed over mats and juice to Jews of one of the units of the National Guard.
Pavel Feldblum, the head of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Jewish Religious Organizations, initiated the initiative and was supported by such well-known Jewish volunteers in Ukraine, former servicemen and instructors as Asher Cherkassky, Nikolai Mikulich, Tim Zlatkin and Gennady Mashinzon. Former fighter battalion "Dnepr-1" Asher Cherkassky said: "We are not afraid. We are on an equal footing, more precisely side by side, with Ukrainians, together, we defend the freedom and independence of this country ".
