Over the past day 39 fires have occurred in the region. All of them happened through the fault of a man. Maxim Pinchugov, Deputy Head of the Supervisory Activity and Preventive Work Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region, briefed the fire situation in the region.

"The zone of aviation fire protection is not yet lit, all the incidents that occurred were eliminated by ground brigade forces. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Emergency Situations plans to seek help from Rosgvardia to monitor the situation in the forests from the air with the help of their drones "- reported Maxim Pinchugov.

Cooperation with Rosgvardia began last summer. Then, in a fire-dangerous period, the agency used several unmanned aircraft to search for and quickly eliminate fires from the air. This year, interdepartmental cooperation was decided to extend.

Now you can monitor the security in the forests online. This will also increase the number of detected and punished offenders.

"Last year, with the help of unmanned vehicles for an hour, it was possible to detain 14 offenders and prevent possible emergencies," recalls the deputy head of the Emergency Management Department.

In 2017, they plan not only to identify violators, but also to use the collected data to hold them accountable. Now for a holiday with shish kebabs in the forest by the end of the picnic you can "additionally" pay from 3 to 5 thousand rubles. Penalty for legal entities will be from 300 to 500 thousand rubles.
