During January-March 2017, criminal offenses were committed against 2,027 children, which is 19.8% less than for the same period in 2016. This is stated in the response of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine to the information request of UNN.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, in the first three months of this year, against 2027 children, criminal offenses were committed, namely, 1,409 juveniles and 618 young children (under 14 years of age).

According to the department, during this period, there were deliberate murders (and attempts) against 3 minors and 12 juvenile children, deliberate serious bodily injuries were received by two minors and three young children.

As reported in the Prosecutor General's Office, this year all suffered from the criminal offenses of schoolchildren, namely 691 minors and 397 young children.

Next are vocational schools, where a total of 306 children suffered, of which 24 are young.

In addition, according to the prosecutor's office, also in January-March this year, 164 underage students were injured.

Recall, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, in the course of 2016, 4838 minors and 2362 minor children suffered from criminal offenses. At the same time in January-March last year, against 2527 children, crimes were committed.
