The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council decided to ban the holding of mass events on the territory of the city on May 1 and 2.
This is stated in the relevant decision, which was promulgated by the member of the executive committee Andrei Yermolayev on his Facebook page.
It is noted that the decision was made in order to ensure public order in Mykolayiv during May 1-2 holidays, increase security measures, protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, timely identify and eliminate the causes and conditions conducive to the commission of terrorist acts, response and termination Terrorist acts and minimizing their consequences.
The measures were taken considering the appeal of the regional administration of the National Police and the Security Service for assessing the level of the terrorist threat in the region ".
