The Cabinet of Ministers offered the Verkhovna Rada to cancel the administrative arrest for the illegal production, purchase, storage and transportation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in small quantities.

This is stated in Bill No. 6401, registered in the Parliament on April 20.

Corresponding amendments are proposed to be included in the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

In particular, the current version of Article 44 of the Code provides that the illegal production and acquisition of drugs is punishable by a fine of 25 to 50 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (425-850 UAH) or public works from 20 to 60 hours, or admininestom up to 15 days.

Also, the Cabinet of Ministers proposed to withdraw the norm on the administration and increase the minimum fine from 25 to 30 non-taxable minimums (510 UAH).

The bill also provides for the abolition of the administrative administrator for the management of a defective vehicle and the management of transport in the state of alcohol or narcotic intoxication.

In addition, it is proposed to cancel the administration if the person has repeatedly violated during a year the procedure for organizing rallies and demonstrations.

Also, the government proposes to shorten the time for consideration of an appeal on cases involving the use of an administrative administrator from 20 to 3 days.
