Detainees contributed to the smuggling of cigarettes to Europe. As reported on Monday, April 25, the SBU press center, the police found that one of the leaders of the border guard department of the Mukachevo detachment and the head of the operative-search department of the Western Department of the State Border Service helped the local residents transport cigarettes across the border.

At the same time, the so-called fee for their services ranged from $ 50 to $ 70 for each box of cigarettes.

The attackers were detained after several facts of receiving bribes from smugglers and detained them in the workplace.

Both have been announced suspicion of committing a crime under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Now the court decides on the question of the election of precautionary measures to the defendants.
