Most of those who plan to improve their living conditions are more interested in new buildings than in secondary housing.
Experts in February this year interviewed 1,600 people from 140 settlements 20 regions of Ukraine. According to the findings, every 10th resident of Ukraine is going to improve his housing conditions in the next 3 years. This is 21% of Ukrainians then, as 77% do not plan to do this.
Such results of the study are given by the National Center for Financial Research.
Most of those who plan to improve their housing conditions are more interested in new buildings than in secondary housing: 35% against 19%.
Every fourth, and more precisely 23% - does not matter in what house his apartment will be located. The remaining 14% said they want to do an exchange or repair.
The most attractive for Ukrainians housing in apartment buildings, such property is wanted to buy 57%. Every fourth, that is, 25%, would like to buy a house not in the cottage community or part of it. The rest are planning to buy cottages (3%), townhouses (2%) and rooms in communal apartments (1%).
