Boris Korchevnikov will head the Orthodox channel "Spas"

The leading talk show "Live" on "Russia 1" Boris Korchevnikov in the near future will become the leader of the Orthodox television channel "Spas". This was announced by the general director of the channel Boris Kostenko, the local media.

According to him, the decision to appoint Korchevnikov was made by the founders of the channel. Kostenko himself will continue to work on the channel as his deputy. "As far as I know, there are no complaints about my work," explained the acting CEO..

Korchevnikov will be headed by the channel, but what specific position he will officially occupy (general director, editor-in-chief or general producer), is not yet determined. "In fact, he will be the first person on the channel, and I'm second", explained Kostenko. Mediamanager said that he is connected with Korchevnikov "long-standing and warm relations".



The plans of the 34-year-old leader to leave the "Live" became known in February. It was reported that Korchevnikov could move to another project in March.

Korchevnikov conducts a talk show on "Russia 1" from 2013. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. After graduation he worked for NTV, starred in the series "Kadetstvo", was a creative producer of the channel STS, prepared documentary projects for NTV, STS, the TV channel "Russia" and "TV Center".
