Such a temporary decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers together with the Lviv regional state administration and local self-government bodies of the region, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Garbage from the city will be exported and disposed of at landfills in other cities of the Lviv region at a time until the Lviv City Council will make a final system decision on the way of further utilization of solid waste generated in the city," the report said..

It is noted that arrangements for garbage collection will be fixed in a memorandum on cooperation between the Lviv regional state administration, the Lviv regional council, the Lviv city council and local government bodies in whose territory the landfills or landfills of solid domestic waste are located.
