Because of the strong doges with wet snow, sticking of wet snow and squally gusts of wind in these settlements, there was a breakdown of power lines and a protection system. According to the press service of the State Emergency Service, at the moment there are 287 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region without light. At the same time, yesterday rescuers managed to restore power supply in 11 points.

In the Kharkov region 127 settlements remain de-energized, 24 - restored. In the Poltava region, 53 settlements without light, restored 20, in Zaporozhye - 24, restored - 12 and in Kherson - 14 and two, respectively. Over the restoration of electricity supply this morning 871 units of equipment and more than 2714 people again started, - assured the State Emergency Service.

Recall, as reported by URA-Inform, according to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, on April 20-21 in Ukraine in connection with the movement of the next active cyclone, difficult weather conditions are expected.

Today in the Carpathian region, Odessa, Mykolayiv regions, and on April 21 - in Chernivtsi, Khmelnitsky, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Mykolayiv, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkov regions, weather forecasters promise strong precipitation, in places wet snow adherence, snow cover formation.
