At the headquarters of the ATO told a story about a female student of a medical institute from Western Ukraine Ivanna Chabanyuk, who as early as 2014 volunteered for the front, and saved since then many lives.

The story about the physician Ivanka appeared on the page of the headquarters of ATO in Facebook.

The girl studied at the 6th course, when she persuaded the leadership of the educational institution to let her go to the Donbas to save wounded Ukrainian fighters.

Most of all, the girl remembered the story of a wounded fighter who could not be saved.

"The hand of the last patient before the end of her fighting epic (now Ivanna is studying in an internship) the girl remembers so far. Then more than 8:00 her brigade was desperately looking for a wounded scout who blew on the banner. He remembers how he was pulled out from under the wreckage, the way to the hospital, when the usual 20 minutes seemed to her an eternity. Well aware that the injuries of the fighter are incompatible with life, Ivanna vengeance held back tears, encouraged, held his hand. He is a very young guy with heavenly eyes, told her about his family, about the explosion during his return from the mission ... In the hospital, the soldier was taken to barely alive.

In the morning Ivanna found out that he was no more: the doctors were powerless, "they recalled at the headquarters.

Ivann was awarded the Order "People's Hero of Ukraine". After the internship is over, she again plans to go to the East.
