The legendary Ukrainian performer Raisa Kirichenko built a wonderful singing career, and each of her compositions became incredibly popular among listeners, however, despite the success, she always remained a rather modest person. The artist lived in a small house in her native village of Koreshchyna in the Poltava region, where she categorically refused to make modern renovations.
Now Kirichenko’s premises have been turned into the “Mother’s Cherry” museum-estate, where about one and a half thousand people come annually. What the performer’s house looks like was shown on the YouTube channel “Suspilne Poltava”.
Raisa Kirichenko's house has two main rooms, a kitchen and a corridor. All the walls in the artist’s house are painted white, and the doors are a brighter shade – soft blue.. The singer decorated the house with embroidered towels. She hung carpets on the walls.
The stove is located in the most prominent place in the house.. Raisa Kirichenko never wanted to clean it up, even at the request of her husband, because she had many important memories. And in general, the performer, on principle, did not buy new furniture for the house and ignored modern conveniences, because she wanted to keep it the way her parents did it.
Another important part of the performer's house is the gazebo. There Raisa Kirichenko gathered her friends and treated them to dumplings and borscht.
