The soloist and conductor of the Khomin choir Vadim Yatsenko shared that he was incredibly amazed at the act of a young listener during one of the concerts in the Lviv National Opera. According to the artist, the main goal of the activity of their team is to introduce fellow citizens with ancient Ukrainian music, starting from the 17th century, so for him it was real surprise when a 6-year-old boy ran to the stage and sang every composition from their repertoire. Then the conductor was really pleased to realize that young people are familiar with the work of their native country. He told about this in an interview for "
" That is, the repertoire has ancient Ukrainian music. This is, conditionally, the 17th century: Ukrainian Party concerts, the era of classicism, modern Ukrainian composers. The idea of this program (" - Ed. ) This is the acquaintance of the viewer with music, let’s say, the times of Yaremchuk, Ivasyuk, Kvitka Tsishk, that is, this stage, in a good sense of the word. This is really such a layer of Ukrainian music, culture, which developed in fairly interesting conditions, in fact, because we did not have an independent state. Surprisingly, young people know this music. It was unusually funny for us when we were at a concert in the Lviv opera, and a boy of about 6-7 is running up directly to the scene and just sings everything absolutely, and Gorchinsky, and the-anatolsky, and chamo. This is a class, it was very beautiful, ”the artist shared.
Another soloist of the team Taras Demko added that now the culture is very encouraging Ukrainians.
Participants in the Khomin choir with their own eyes see how, after their performances, people return home full of positive emotions and energy.
" Disperse fakes and that propaganda, which for decades, even centuries, accumulated in our heads, ”the performer focused on attention.
It is worth noting that it is thanks to the current concert program " The video was viewed almost 10 million times, and tickets for performances of the choir are sold out at an incredible speed.
