The fires that engulfed Los Angeles did not spare Ukrainian celebrities. Among them is the winner of the first season of the show “The Bachelor”, motivational female speaker, meditation mentor, coach and nutritionist Alexandra Shulgina. The girl has long lived in the city of Angels, where, together with her lover, whom she calls Superman, she is raising her two-year-old daughter Angelina and one-year-old Aspen. In her Instagram story, Alexandra said that their house survived, but was still very damaged by the fire.. Now it is cleaned “from morning to night”, all things are dry-cleaned, and special teams clean filters and air conditioners.

“And insurance will not cover this. In general, insurance will pay 10-30% to those whose houses burned down, and for a couple of years,” she wrote.

Shulgina decided to fly out of the city for the sake of the health of her daughters, so that the girls would not breathe in the smoke, the smell of which is all over Los Angeles. Their father, who organized their trip, remains in the city to resolve issues with the house.

In her story, the girl also said that there are military equipment, police and soldiers on the streets.

Alexandra’s husband is from Latin America, the Ukrainian woman does not disclose his name. But she said that her husband is involved in real estate in California. It was for him that Shulgina moved to Los Angeles. She previously lived in Miami. The couple got married only in 2023.

After winning “The Bachelor,” she briefly dated the show’s star, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who lives in New York.. But the romance was short, and the couple broke up.

Shulgina became a certified fitness trainer and nutritionist and created her own clothing line. She has two higher educations.

Former Ukrainian singer Mika Newton, who has also lived in the United States for many years, was also forced to leave her home in Los Angeles. She said that she and her husband had to evacuate. She shared her experiences, noting that it felt like a bad dream: “Our whole family has to evacuate right now. It’s all like in a bad dream, but in reality,” noted the artist.

Los Angeles wildfires in the Altadena and Pacific Palisades areas have destroyed tens of thousands of homes, including 100-year-old mansions.. The cost of some of them exceeded $100 million. Celebrities like Maria Shriver and Paris Hilton have lost their homes.. But director Steven Spielberg and actor Tom Hanks were among the lucky ones whose houses survived.

Focus previously wrote about why the streets of Los Angeles were covered in pink powder.
