The athlete's first wife was Ukrainian fitness champion Svetlana Zabiyaka. They married in 2003 and had a son, Adam, who is now 21, that same year.. Unfortunately, three years after the wedding, Svetlana died tragically - she was covered in an avalanche at the Palandoken ski resort in Turkey.. At the time of the tragedy she was only 28 years old.

Virastyuk entered into his second marriage in 2007 with Inna, an employee of the pharmaceutical company Bayer in Ukraine.. The couple had two sons - Oleg (2008) and Alexander (2016). However, in 2023 the couple announced their divorce.. The breakup did not pass without conflicts: Inna accused the athlete of concealing income and demanded alimony, which Virastyuk refused to pay in the proposed amount.

Virastyuk’s third girlfriend, Irina Zinchenko, is 11 years younger than him. The athlete noted that their relationship is now an important priority for him, but the couple is not yet in a hurry to formalize the marriage.

“Regarding our marriage with Irina, my beloved, it’s too early to talk about it, we’re not thinking about it yet,” Virastyuk said.
