The death of cult rapper Tupac Shakur is considered one of the most mysterious crimes in US history. Some fans still believe that their idol is alive. However, after 22 years the truth was revealed.
According to Daily Mail, American television producer Kyle Long, who worked on a 10-series project on the most high-profile murders of the 20th century in the US, and has not yet been uncovered by the police, turned to the Las Vegas police with a sensational statement.
The film crew met with former gangster Dave Keith Davis nicknamed Kif Dee. It was he who declared that Tupac was murdered by his nephew Orlando Anderson, nicknamed Baby Lane, who is no longer alive.
According to the men, Anderson killed Shakur because of personal insult - the rapper, along with friends, beat the guy for attempting to steal the gang medallion, which included Shakur.
"He was a snooty fellow. To Tupac, Babi Lane had a personal account. He wanted to steal from someone from Tupac's entourage a medallion with the emblem of Death Row Records, "said Kif Dee.
Then Dee decided to intercede for Orlando and wait for Shakur when he left the hotel.
"I took out a pistol and handed it to Dre (a partner of Keith Deed. He shivered with fright and refused to shoot. Then the gun took Baby Lane. T-Brown (the driver of the car in which the gang was - Ed.. ) chose the right moment. Our cars were leveled, it was stretched a little forward, so that my nephew was facing the front of the BMW. Then Orlando lowered the window and fired several times. T-Brown jerked forward, and we disappeared, "- admitted Kif.
