In the US, at the age of 70, the writer and comic book editor Len Wayne died, who was one of the creators of the famous Hollywood movie heroes.

The causes of death are not reported, but it is noted that Wayne had health problems - he was recently operated on the spinal column.

Wayne's memory in social networks was honored by representatives of publishers Marvel and DC, as well as actor Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the film adaptation of comic books about the X-Men.

"I was fortunate enough to meet Len Wayne in 2008.

I told him then that he had created the greatest comic characters in his heart, his head and his hands, "Jackman wrote in his microblogging.

Recall that Wayne worked in publishing houses Marvel and DC, where he wrote scripts for the release of comics "Batman", "Superman", "Flash", "Green Lantern" and "Daredevil". And in 1975, together with the artist Dave Cochram, he started restarting the X-Men series. They added to the superhero team of Night Serpent, Kolos, Storm and Wolverine.
