Recently, the most anticipated autumn project began in Kiev - the reality model XL on 1 + 1, which will challenge the strict stereotypes of beauty in the fashion world.

After a large-scale casting, in which over 2000 girls with magnificent forms from different parts of Ukraine and other countries took part, a strict jury and a creative group of the project selected 30 beauties. They will have to pass several tests to get into the top ten and become participants in the project.

The jury will include the best professionals in the world of fashion and beauty. Who will decide the fate of the participants, while kept secret.

Filming of the Model XL project took place in the heart of Kiev in one of the capital's galleries. Girls of the size of "plus-saz" reincarnated in real Japanese geishas and defile on the podium in bright kimonos with long sleeves.

It is interesting that the outfit for each girl was created to order specifically for the filming of the project. The largest size of kimono, which had to be sewn for beauties, reached XXXL. A variety of patterns, images of flowers and traditional cranes for Japan, which adorn each kimono, were developed by the department of the style of the channel 1 + 1 and painted manually by the master. The image of each girl was completed with a stylish hairstyle and flowers woven into her hair.

"The drawings on each kimono is an adaptation of traditional Japanese motifs to modern fashion trends," comments the main stylist of the "1 + 1" channel Olga Slon.

Project Model XL, which is created according to the German format "Curvy Supermodel", is designed not only to expand the modern concept of beauty, but also to help ordinary women become more confident in themselves, get rid of complexes, stereotypes and love their body the way it is.

In the project, 10 "plus-size" girls will perform different tasks and struggle with their own complexes under the supervision of a strict and professional jury, proving by their example that natural beauty is not only health, but also attractiveness, femininity and sexuality.
