The Sunday Times named the UK's richest musicians. Leaders of the ranking were Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, whose fortune currently reaches 780 million pounds.

The second position is taken by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who earned 740 million pounds sterling.

And closes the top three of the group U2 with 548 million British pounds.

Also in the top ten are Elton John (? 290 million), Mick Jagger (? 250 million), Keith Richards (? 235 million), George Harrison's widow and son - Olivia and Dani Harrison (? 210 million), as well as Michael Flatley and Ringo Starr (? 200 million each).

Closes TOP-10 Sting, whose state is estimated at 210 million pounds.
