Harvey Weinstein's company declared bankruptcyAfter the allegations of sexual harassment of Harvey Weinstein, The Weinstein Company, whose co-founder he is (the producer founded it together with his brother Bob in 2005), filed for bankruptcy. Representatives of the company noted that they signed an agreement with the firm Latern Capitals, which is ready to acquire the assets of the film producer company for 300-320 million dollars.

Difficulties in the company Weinstein began in October last year, when a scandal broke out after the accusations of the producer in harassment.

Recall that the victims of Weinstein were Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and many other actresses who made public statements about harassment on his part. Soon after the scandal was widely publicized, The Weinstein Company's board of directors fired the producer from his own company. A few days later, Weinstein's wife, Georgina Chapman, said she was filing for divorce.

Now the 66-year-old producer, according to Western media, is in Arizona, where he undergoes treatment for sexual addiction.
