American stars with Ukrainian roots, actress and director Vera Farmiga and actress and singer Barbra Streisand, told the story of the composition “Shchedrik”. One hundred years ago, the Ukrainian Republican Chapel under the direction of conductor Alexander Koshits completed a five-year tour across three continents. Then the choir gave more than 500 concerts - and everywhere there was a sell-out. World stars talk about this in a special video. " And it is during this period of the year that it can be heard everywhere. Chime. Carol of the Bells. The hope of the Christmas season, the hope of the nation and the whole world are united by this song born in Ukraine.\? says actress Vera Farmiga in the video.
On the occasion of the centenary of the completion of the world tour, the video also included videos of the performance of “Shchedryk” by Ukrainians in different parts of the world today.
