At the world-famous Burning Man festival, Ukrainian sculpture was unexpectedly burned. However, it was a symbolic burning. In particular, Ukrainian artists, the initiators of such a performance, demonstrated how Ukraine is reviving. In particular, the solemn burning took place on August 31. At the festival, a wooden box was burned, which hid a sculpture of a phoenix bird, the outlines of which resemble a trident - a symbol of strength and independence of Ukraine.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba showed and spoke about the symbolism of such a performance.
" Burning Man is an important artistic event, thanks to which the world can discover Ukraine from a new perspective. I am grateful to the artists who created this installation, the talented Ukrainian artists Oleksiy Sai and Bogdana Kosmina, as well as the team of the STROOM ART art association, which implemented this project,” comments Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
The idea and implementation of the " Artists Aleksey Say and Bogdana Kosmina embodied the idea alive.
" Indestructible Ukraine, which is reborn and becomes even stronger than the ashes of war,"
Note that Burning Man is a world-famous festival that has been held annually in the United States since 1986.. The event takes place in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. Every year artists from all over the world bring their work. Curiously, at the end of the festival, all presented products are symbolically burned.
