The performer shared on Instagram that she came to Kyiv with American pediatrician Irwin Redlener and his wife Karen, co-founder of Ukraine Children's Action Projec. The organization was created in 2022 in order to take care of the health of children who suffered from the war. Before coming to Ukraine, Joan visited Poland.
