Grief happened in the family of singer Irina Fedyshyn - her cousin Roman died in the war for Ukraine.

The performer shared the sad news from the front on Instagram. Fedyshyn said that her 34-year-old brother died in the battles near Soledar. A man from the first days of a full-scale invasion went to defend Ukraine from the invaders.

The singer remembered that she had recently seen Roman when he came on vacation. Then the brother attended a concert in Fedyshyn, where they took the last photo together.

\! We just saw each other recently, you were allowed to go home for 10 days. You immediately visited our grandmother. Then you came to visit me and talked about the war. You were full of strength, energy, even, you didn’t say in a word that it was hard there.. And I never even thought that something could happen. You always smiled and joked. We stood in the corridor and could not say goodbye. You hugged me from time to time, walked and stopped again to talk. I invited you to a concert in Truskavets, 25. 01. You said you'd try hard to be. Until the last minute, the singer's family believed that Roman was alive.. Unfortunately, the body of the deceased soldier cannot yet be removed from the battlefield, because constant shelling continues there..
