Charitable organization CORE Response, founded by Hollywood actor and director Sean Penn, will provide the Lviv region with more than a million dollars.

This was announced in Telegram by the head of the Lviv OVA Maxim Kozitsky.

In particular, the funds will be used to help displaced people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war unleashed by Russia.. So, in the premises of the shelter at the base of the Lviv Polytechnic, where families live, the heating system will be improved.

Also, in schools, sanatoriums, geriatric boarding houses, where internally displaced persons are located, windows and doors will be replaced.

As Kozitsky noted, CORE Response will help the region this year and next.

Representatives of CORE Response noted that they will take into account all requests from the Lviv OVA in order to effectively distribute their capabilities and resources in support of the region in 2023,"
