Note that Zoya is the adopted daughter of Alexander Ponomarev. She is the firstborn of the ex-wife of Ponomarev, producer Alena Mozgova. Zoya was born in 1994. Alena Mozgovaya was not married to Zoya's biological father and divorced before her birth.

Alena Mozgova has two more daughters - the producer gave birth to Evgenia in 1999 from her ex-civil husband, singer Alexander Ponomarev. And in 2015, Mozgovaya gave her husband David Axelrod a daughter, Solomiya.
