Natalya Moseychuk was brought up in a family on the move, because her father is a military man, and her mother is a teacher. Her childhood years were at school in Hungary. Then the family moved to the Zhytomyr region. And further to Kyiv. When this topic was touched upon, Natalya spoke about a loved one with a lump in her throat and with tears in her eyes.. “As a child, I always had a strong bond with my father.. I was, of course, daddy's daughter. I really missed him"
Father of Natalia, Nikolai Fedorovich, 81 years old. In 1983 he fought in Afghanistan, at the most dangerous point, in Kandahar. The TV presenter shared family memories:.
" Then tanks cost more. He told the story, when the tank was driving along the serpentine, it almost fell into the abyss. They told him on the radio that if you don’t bring the tank, we’ll tear off the shoulder straps, and you yourself will sit down. And then, under enemy fire, the soldiers pulled him out with ropes instead of saving their lives."
Dad returned from the war wounded, it was difficult to recover for a normal life.
" I want the Russians, whose relatives are now fighting in Ukraine, to hear me. They don't need to be here, just like my father didn't need to be in Afghanistan back then.. My father was in Afghanistan for a year and a half, then he was wounded and he spent several years in hospitals.
Forever I remember the moment when we met dad with flowers on the platform in Berdichev. It was hot, but he got out of the car in an overcoat, carried a suitcase in one hand, and in the other there was a stick. And when I saw my dad in such a state... I still live with this picture... Soon you will see your parents and children like this - without arms, without legs... And you will live with such people. But you have a chance - call your people and tell them to surrender, so as not to fight against the Ukrainians"
