Russian showman Maxim Galkin is one of the first Russian artists who spoke out against the war in Ukraine.
The artist publicly wrote that there is no justification for war. Ukrainians thanked Galkin for his support, but some Russians criticized him because of this. If earlier the singer refrained from commenting, now he decided to respond to criticism.

They also tried to reproach Galkin for the fact that he built his career in Russia.. The artist replied that he paid taxes to the state and, like every citizen, has the right to his own opinion, even if someone does not like it.
