Famous American composer and poet Stephen Sondheim dies.
Oscar winner passed away the morning after celebrating Thanksgiving at his home in Roxbury. The author of a number of Broadway musicals was 91. The BBC writes about this with reference to his lawyer..
Note, Stephen created 20 original Broadway musicals. In particular, in 1979 he produced a production of " The musical about a killer hairdresser has received over 550 plays and was filmed by Tim Burton in 2007. The main role was played by Johnny Depp.
In 1991, Sondheim received an Oscar for Best Song for a Film for the music and lyrics to the song Sooner or Later from Dick Tracy, performed by Madonna.
