Nazar Zadneprovsky, the star of the comedy Skeenee Vesilla, who played the father of a girl who marries an Afro-Frenchman, told how he got into the role, says in “Snіdanku s 1 + 1”.
As the actor admitted, his daughter is now 4 years old and he imagined how he would react if his child would have brought a black guy to him as his son-in-law.
"My daughter is 4 years old, I thought how I will have it in the future, when my daughter will come in 15 years, God forbid. No, I am not a racist in any way, but I really want me to have a very beautiful Ukrainian son-in-law. I put myself in this situation and what I played in the frame is me. I have a lot in what looks like this character ", - Zadneprovsky shared.
In turn, the film’s producer Yuri Gorbunov noted that the comedy about the people who surround us.
"This is a story about those people who live around us - these are our children, friends, parents. These are all our stereotypes.
Ukrainians are terribly afraid to look ridiculous, they are terribly afraid of what others will say. We often live with the stereotypes with which everyone lives: "God, well, of course, I would change something in my life, but what people will say, therefore I will not change". So people, - change your life for the better ", - Gorbunov advised.
Note that on wide screens comedy "Saying Vesіlya" comes out on October 4. The television premiere of the film will take place on the channel "1 + 1".
