Only recently in Kiev at the NSC Olimpiyskiy a large-scale show was arranged by the group "Okean Elzy" on the Independence Day of Ukraine.

The group's live concert was the first after a year's pause and the most anticipated musical event of the year. Unrestrained energy, choral performance of favorite songs of almost a hundred thousand people, a sense of unity, and an endless drive - the performance of "OE" charged for a long time.

Traditional - because this musical grandiose concert in honor of Independence Day, organized for the fifth time. Starting in 2014, the songs were played at stadiums in Lviv, Odessa, Kharkov.

This year, lucky people from Kiev, who began to gather at the NSC "Olympic" in advance, to take the closest to the scene in the first fan zone.

Many people supported the national spirit, wearing embroideries, and some girls decorated their heads with Ukrainian national wreaths.

Before the beginning of the concert frontman of the group Svyatoslav Vakarchuk held a briefing in which he answered questions from journalists solely regarding his concert and musical plans.

It became known that almost all former musicians of the band came to the concert.

According to Vakarchuk, Yuri Khustochka with his family arrived from Paris to attend a concert in Kiev.

Also, as the frontman of the "Ocean Elzy" said the next city in which the group will give a large-scale concert will be the Dnieper.

"Ocean Elzy" came on the scene, made in the form of a huge wave in 21. 20, but before the performance appeared on the stage of the ethno-group "DakhaBrakha". The unique musicians performed the program from their most famous compositions, and also played several new songs. At the end of the ethno group's performance, musicians came out on stage to the stormy applause and shouts of almost hundreds of thousands of fans, and then Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.

The large-scale show was opened by the band "Get Up", however during the whole concert the charismatic musician performed an unlimited number of songs, each of which was accompanied by a special video that was broadcast on a huge screen. Under rather emotional performance of a composition "the Whistle of the sky" Svyatoslav Vakarchuk has torn a T-shirt directly on a stage.

As the musician promised, he performed three new compositions, which he prepared for the current concert in Kiev. These were live versions of the songs "In the sky to the wife", "Without you" and a completely new composition "Skilki us".

Also during the concert, Vakarchuk remembered our political prisoners and dedicated a song "Koli tobi imeriko". Six back-vocalists also appeared on the scene familiar to the whole group, among which were the participants of the Voice of the Kraini project, as well as the wind section of four people.

Also some of his compositions the musician for the first time on this kind of concert played on his own piano, which stands at his house.

Famous songs such as "My little nezalezhnnost", "Oh, chi then kin stoyte" and "Do not drink" sounded quite intimate and tender.

After one of the short pauses of the concert, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk went on stage and sang akapelno and very touching the Hymn of Ukraine together with all the spectators, after which emotions can not be conveyed in words.

The four-hour show "Okean Elzy" finished with the composition "Obnimi" and said goodbye to the audience until the next concert.
