Popular American actor Chris Pratt spoke in support of the director of the tape "Guards of the Galaxy" James Gunn, who was fired for tweets of a decade ago.

On his Instagram page, Pratt, who performed the role of the Star Lord, published an open letter with words of support to the director who signed the entire cast.

"We fully support Anna. We were all amazed by his removal last week and deliberately waited 10 days before the comment to think, pray, listen and discuss everything. We were encouraged by the support of fans and media representatives who want James to return as the director of the third part of the film, "the letter says.. Also, the actor added that although he does not support the inappropriate jokes of Gunn, however he considers him to be a good person.

The authors of the letter also noted that they were "shocked" by the film company's decision to dismiss the director and are currently thinking about how to convince Walt Disney to return Gunn.

Recall that the first for Ganna stood up another actor from the movie Dave Batista (the performer of the role of Drax the Destroyer). He said that the director "made mistakes, but we all did them".

It is worth noting that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Guardians of Galaxy 2" came out in 2014 and 2017 respectively. The premiere of the third part was scheduled for 2020.
