The two most popular actors of Hollywood Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, who now play together in the movie Quentin Tarantino, at one time renounced the role in the Oscar-winning film "Brokeback Mountain".

This was reported by the director Gus Van Sant, who took up the adaptation of the story "Brokeback Mountain", even before the producers replaced him with Ang Lee, who later received an Oscar for best directing work. However, it is because of the failure with the casting that Van Sant did not withdraw his version of the tape.
