In April of this year, the famous actress Ashley Judd sued Harvey Weinstein and accused the producer of damaging her career as revenge for rejected harassment.

Now it became known that the lawyer of the producer, in turn, appealed to the federal judge with a request to eliminate the case about sabotage of the career of the actress, according to the Vanity Fair.

In the new documents filed by Weinstein's lawyers, the defense group claims that their client did not at all try to sabotage the career - in fact, he tried to do the opposite: to win her Academy Award. To then sleep with the actress.

And the documents say: 20 years ago, Ashley came to Harvey's hotel room to discuss possible joint work. Weinstein met her in a dressing gown, asked him to massage him and asked if she would look after him while he was washing. In response, Ashley said that she would give Harvey a touch only if she won a prestigious award for work in one of his films.

According to the new documentation filed by the producer's lawyers, "Weinstein tried to fulfill his part of the deal by trying to bring the plaintiff to the maximum possible number of roles that would help her get the Academy Award".

Recall last fall, the newspaper The New York Times published an investigation in which it says that Weinstein for 20 years invited actresses to hotel rooms under the pretext of discussing their participation in large-scale projects, and then forced to sex and in case of refusal threatened a career. Among the victims of the scandalous producer of her time were famous actresses such as Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGaven, Salma Gayek and many others.
