The founder of the studio Pixar and creative director of Walt Disney Animation, John Lasseter, who was accused of sexual harassment, decided to resign at the end of this year.

This is reported in a press release, published by the company, reports HollywoodReporter.

According to the employees, John allowed himself unbecoming behavior: he touched them improperly and kissed his lips. Lasseter himself admitted that he likes to cuddle, and apologized for not being liked by everyone.

Disney executives knew about his tricks and thought the director was a 13-year-old who needed an eye and an eye, but at the same time recognized that John was the genius and heart of Disney Animation and Pixar.

Recently, among the industry, calls for dismissal of Lasseter have been heard more often, which led to the decision of the studio. Until December 31, he will remain in the studio as a consultant, after which he will be finally dismissed. Since November last year, Lasseter is on vacation.

Who will replace Lasseter at the moment is unknown.
