Marichka's acquaintance with the guests began with a photo of her 11-year-old son Michael in the form of Liverpool in the Facebook network. In the group where the Kievites offered fans free accommodation, the Marichka family invited the family with children, because there are a lot of baby beds at home.
The first who reacted to the post of Marichka was a desperate fan from London Imran. The host immediately agreed to accept the guest, although his profile on the network was very suspicious by Ukrainian standards: nowhere was there any mention of him and, as it turned out later, even the name was not real. And only in Kiev, Marichka learned that Imran as a teacher at school is not recommended to maintain a personal page and upload photos of the family under the real name.
At the airport, Marichka met Imran not himself, but with daughter Zara. Even before their arrival in Kiev, they communicated a lot through video communication, and therefore in the capital have already met as relatives. The daughter of Marichka immediately became friends with Zara, even the language barrier did not become a hindrance to them. Before the trip to Kiev in anticipation of Ukrainian hospitality, Imran created a banner with gratitude to the city. On the day of his departure he left a banner to the son of Marichka - Michael, who then returned from the international football tournament with a victory, and because of what, unfortunately, missed his beloved Liverpool.
It was not all gifts from guests from Anfield, the home stadium of Liverpool. Another guy was waiting for a scarf and a favorite foreign club hat. And also a postcard for the whole family of Marichka:.
